The Centra Blue Lake Community is a neighborhood interested in providing more wildlife habitat and learning about wildlife and plants in the area. Residents are documenting plants and animals in the Centra Blue Lake Community and surrounding neighborhoods with the iNaturalist program and their iNaturalist project can be found here. This includes the Pondhawk Natural Area, Spanish River Library, and the Tempest Development. They are also interested in creating more wildlife habitat throughout this area. The Centra Blue Lake Community is part of the Neighborhood Natural Area Network, a collaboration between University of Florida scientists, IFAS extension, and residents in the community.
