    Neighborhood Natural Area Network

    Florida Keys Master Gardeners

    This is a group of Master Gardeners in the Keys, Florida where members are documenting organisms in their neighborhoods and nearby natural areas and improving habitat in their yards and neighborhoods by utilizing native plants and removing invasive plants.

    iNaturalist: Master Gardeners are monitoring plants are monitoring plants and animals in their yards and nearby areas with the iNaturalist program and their iNaturalist project can be found here. If interested in participating in the iNaturalist project, contact Dr. Mark Hostetler (hostetm@ufl.edu).

    Restoration Activities: Several residents within the community are landscaping with native plants and removing invasive plants. If interested in learning more, contact Michelle Mularz (mularz-michelle@monroecounty-fl.gov).
