Oak Hammock is a retirement community located in Gainesville, Florida. Residents are documenting plants and animals in the area with the iNaturalist program and their iNaturalist project can be found here. This community is part of the Neighborhood Natural Area Network, a collaboration between University of Florida IFAS Extension, neighborhoods, community groups, and the public to document plants and animals found in cities and to mange urban areas for biodiversity.
